End-to-end digitalization
Buildings consume 41% of global energy and account for approximately 1/3 of GHG emissions.
Real estate is responsible for 25% of all water consumption worldwide, and water demand will increase 55% by 2050.
1/3 of the world's waste comes from buildings while key building materials themselves are heavy contributors to C02 (7-8%)
Supply chains create more than 1/2 of total global emissions and suffer from non-transparency, greenwashing and double carbon accounting
Young employees have high interest in development, and 3/4 report wanting to be active participants in corporate responsible business practices.

Environmental commitment
We are committed to reducing our portfolio greenhouse gas emissions, starting with tracking and optimization of building energy consumption at our main offices. Aden has undertaken a systemic energy tracking and carbon calculation project to achieve this, while also installing major renewables and high-efficiency asses at large properties under Aden Group's ownership.
Environmental commitment
Aden staff are trained in best practices for operational water consumption, while we also digitally track on-site water consumption and leverage automation and AIoT technologies to boost water efficiency at large sites. Finally, the group is working to expand in areas such as rainwater collection and water recycling which will help us move towards net-zero water.
Environmental commitment
As part of the Aden-Akila GHG project we are tracking, categorizing and calculating carbon emissions related to operational waste, with the aim of steady reduction. Meanwhile in sites built and owned by Aden, we have achieved as much as +50% use of recycled steel. Aden will continue expanding its use of sustainable materials in pursuit of this commitment.
Social commitment
Aden has undertaken a close study of its supply chain, introducing an array of policies to expand centralized distribution, standardized requirements, reduced packaging waste, and vendor control. At the same time, at remote locations Aden has adopted local purchasing policies for many categories of perishable goods in order to reduce supply chain length and support local communities.
Social commitment
We believe that our people are our most valuable asset. Last year, we provided Aden Group employees with +230,000 hours of training, including for ESG and individual actions that can reduce GHG. At the same time, we are working to foster a safe, inclusive, and diverse working environment where every individual can achieve their best personal, career and leadership potential.
Governance commitment
We are committed to upholding high standards of corporate governance and robust structures ensuring compliance with legal regulations and ethical principles. Our internal control and risk management systems promote transparency, accountability, and integrity in all aspects of our operations. Aden has also created ESG and Sustainability committees which will collect relevant data with the goal of automated collection of ESG and sustainability data required by our clients (GRI, EcoVadis, etc.)
