We are proud to announce that Aden Group has officially joined the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) — the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative. By becoming a UNGC participant, Aden commits to aligning its strategy and operations with the Compact’s Ten Principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption.
This milestone reflects our deepening commitment to responsible business conduct and our ongoing mission to drive Sustainable Transformation in the Built Environment. Aden Group is embedding ESG values into every level of our operations — from digital platforms to on-the-ground solutions.
Building on Real Progress
Our commitment to the UNGC builds on a growing portfolio of ESG initiatives already underway across our business, including but not limited to:
- Resource management and GHG accounting through our Akila platform, enabling digital, real-time tracking of carbon emissions
- 6,000+ employees trained in ESG, with many earning certification from the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR)
- Deployment of low-carbon facility solutions across Asia, improving energy efficiency and reducing client emissions
- Sustainable procurement practices, including greener sourcing and the use of biodegradable packaging materials
By joining the UNGC, Aden also reinforces its alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and gains access to a global network for knowledge sharing, collaboration, and ESG reporting.
Joining the UNGC is more than a symbolic gesture — it is a strategic move to hold ourselves accountable, improve our transparency, and contribute to global sustainability goals. We are excited to collaborate with like-minded organizations around the world as we continue building a more sustainable, inclusive, and ethical future.
