With full participation from employees across all operations, this training plays a pivotal role in embedding ESG principles into both our daily practices and corporate culture.

What is ESG training at Aden?

Since the introduction of our sustainability strategy in 2015, Aden has consistently prioritized the integration of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors into our decision-making processes. The foundation of this commitment is our ESG-focused management model, which influences our operations, long-term goals, and overall approach to business.

To ensure that these principles are effectively implemented across the company, we have adopted a dual approach: a combination of rigorous training and its practical application in daily operations. Our ESG Training initiative, delivered both online and in-person, is central to this strategy, providing our employees with the tools to drive sustainability within their respective roles.

The program is designed not only to impart theoretical knowledge but also to equip employees with practical, real-world insights that foster lasting change. This comprehensive training initiative aims to ensure that our employees are not only informed but empowered to apply ESG principles to their work and enhance the value we provide to clients.

Key achievements of Aden’s ESG training

• 100% coverage: Every employee across our seven major regions in China has participated in the training, covering over 20,000 employees and more than 1,000 project sites. This 100% participation rate reflects our dedication to embedding ESG principles at all levels of the organization.
• 301 employees earned United Nations UNITAR Certification: This certification highlights the advanced expertise our employees have gained through the training, aligning Aden’s operations with global ESG standards.
• 6,681 employees completed the full ESG series: The full series covers essential sustainability topics, from climate change mitigation to energy management, ensuring employees are equipped with the knowledge needed to make a positive impact.
• 2 strategic cooperation webinars: These webinars provided an opportunity for collaboration with industry leaders and experts, enhancing our understanding of the evolving ESG landscape.
