Ikea selects Akila as its platform for optimization of 37 sites

Ikea has signed a collaboration agreement with Akila, and will deploy the digital twin platform at 37 locations to cover 1.4 million sqm of IKEA property, with a projected carbon reduction of more than 10 million kilograms. This will dramatically increase the level of digitalization at participating IKEA facilities, and will also include digitalization of the design and construction phase for greenfield sites.
