Aden Indonesia has secured a contract with PT. Merdeka Tsingshan Indonesia (MTI), a member of the Merdeka Group and a leader in Indonesia’s mining sector. The project spans 4,700 square meters and is located in Morowali in Sulawesi, an emerging area within Indonesia’s mining sector, where Aden has managed three consecutive remote site accounts with the group over the last two years.

The MTI remote camp project is a crucial component of the Merdeka Group, designed to process spent ore from the Wetar Copper Mine and convert it into valuable by-products such as sulfuric acid, saturated steam, iron ore pellets, copper sponge, lead-zinc hydroxide, gold doré, and silver.

Starting today, Aden Indonesia will serve more than 1,000 personnel onsite and deliver a comprehensive range of essential camp IFM services, which include catering, smart facilities, and provision of daily essentials for staff convenience, aiming to create a home-like environment for workers, even in one of Indonesia’s most remote and industrialized regions.

Nicolas Durupt, Country General Manager of Aden Indonesia, commented, “Aden Indonesia is honored to support Merdeka Group in its commitment to creating a positive impact within Sulawesi’s burgeoning industrial sector, focusing on both workforce well-being and operational excellence in a sustainable manner.”
