This comprehensive report, the company’s first formal sustainability disclosure, outlines Aden’s strategies and achievements in advancing sustainability in line with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

- Sustainable Operations: Aden continues to lead the charge in sustainable practices across its 1,200 client facilities throughout China, reducing carbon emissions and energy consumption by leveraging digital solutions like its Akila platform.
- Environmental Performance: In 2023, Aden reported reductions in carbon emissions, with 35.43 tons of CO2 from Scope 1 and 312.55 tons from Scope 2 emissions. The company also implemented energy-saving projects that reduced its IT infrastructure’s energy use by 40%.
- Commitment to Net-Zero: Aden reaffirmed its commitment to achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050, with 2023 seeing the introduction of the “Aden-Akila GHG Project,” aimed at real-time monitoring and reducing emissions across its operations.
- Social and Governance Impact: The report also highlights Aden’s focus on employee well-being, supply chain responsibility, and transparent governance, with 100% of employees receiving training in business ethics and no reported incidents of corruption.
